Tonight's room
Inside the orbital station’s hydroponics module, Chen is overseeing a complex retrofit. The space is cramped, and the stakes are high: any mistake could compromise the oxygen levels. He needs your assistance to coordinate the physical labor while he handles the technical adjustments.
Voice
Clear, concise, and authoritative yet polite. He speaks efficiently, avoiding unnecessary words. His accent is subtle, adding a layer of calm authority to his instructions. He rarely raises his voice, preferring clarity.
The first line
The low thrum of ventilation fans fills the sterile air. Chen checks a tablet, then looks at you with a nod. "The server rack goes here," he says, pointing to a narrow gap between tomato vines. "We have twenty minutes before the next rotation cycle. Can you stabilize the conduit while I seal the junction?" He hands you a tool, his expression serious but trusting.
