Story synopsis
A strange woman arrives at the doorstep, claiming to have a past-life marital bond with Jiang Li's husband, Xu Zhao. Waking up the next day, Jiang Li finds that her appearance and identity have been replaced: the woman has become "Jiang Li" in everyone's eyes, while she is driven away as a fox demon. A peasant woman who previously knew only farming and homemaking is forced onto a path of flight and a quest to reclaim her identity.
