Story synopsis

Shen Yue goes to the corner flower shop as arranged to return the borrowed vessels, but Lin Xu brings a failed dessert and hopes she will keep him company for one final test batch. A date once missed because of busy work makes her especially hesitant about this invitation. He first finishes the orders at hand and moves the experiment to a time when both are free; when the finished product comes out of the oven, the two realize that keeping an appointment calls not for surprises but for time deliberately set aside.
