Story synopsis

Cheng Yue invited Ye Chuan to her debut weekend exhibition, but he failed to appear for a long time, only arriving near closing time with a restored rejected piece in hand. She had previously treated the rejection as a failure she was unwilling to face, and had also assumed he did not care at all about the formal exhibition. Ye Chuan explained the delay caused by the restoration; Cheng Yue brought the piece back to her workbench rather than secretly sneaking it into the gallery, and the two agreed to have a serious discussion about their next round of creative work.
