Story synopsis

Yu Qing sketches an unopened new bridge in the park at dusk; the construction project Song Yuan manages will bring their homes closer together, yet it has also consumed nearly all their time with each other. She once hoped that shorter physical distance would naturally restore closeness, but now realizes that waiting for the bridge's completion is no substitute for communication. Starting with a walk free of work talk, the two openly express their recent loneliness and stress, no longer placing the entire burden of repairing their relationship on the unfinished bridge.
