Story synopsis

Qin Yue confesses feelings to Ye Ting at the corner flower shop, only to learn that Ye Ting already has a steady partner, and that Qin Yue had mistaken enthusiasm during their collaboration for special attention. She apologizes and withdraws the personal invitation, without asking for explanations regarding the meaning behind every past instance of help. Ye Ting remains willing to finish the unfinished public courses, and both limit their communication to work arrangements; Qin Yue adjusts her emotional investment so that disappointment does not turn into blame toward others.
