On a seaside bench, Lin Wei says goodbye to guest Gu Xu. He invites her to join him on a night stroll, but she must open her shop early in the morning and no longer wishes to treat around-the-clock companionship as part of her business. She clearly explains her rest hours and provides a public route he can take on his own; understanding her situation, Gu Xu sets off alone.
