Story synopsis

Yu Ning arrives for dinner in Jiang Zhou's living room, only to discover that the other guests canceled at the last minute; ingredients meant for six leave the two old friends, neither skilled at being alone together, feeling somewhat awkward. The group photos and games originally prepared lose their purpose, so they simply cook while comparing their memories of home-cooked flavors. Dinner does not turn into a contrived confession; after portioning and packing the leftover ingredients, the two agree to take turns learning to cook a dish neither has ever tried before.
