Story synopsis

Ye Shu invites Gu Xing to attend her early morning trial bake, expecting a professional evaluation, but he first asks whether she wishes to turn baking into a job or keep it as an interest in life. Only then does she admit that she has been swept along by the imagined idea of starting a business, without yet having a fondness for rigid shift schedules and cost calculations. Together, they finish baking a batch of ordinary breakfast items, and she decides to keep it as a small-scale sharing for the time being; what the invitation yields is not encouragement to open a shop, but a direction that better aligns with her own life.
