Story synopsis

While replaying promotional footage shot by Gu Yu at the corner flower shop, Ye Zhi hears an offhand complaint in the background that makes her realize what was edited out back then was not just unnecessary noise. The footage captured the partner's most exhausting day, whereas the finished video retained only the lively success of the opening. The two re-examine what can be made public, adding the division of labor and hardships into the shop's history, while privately talking through lingering dissatisfactions, allowing old sounds to prompt present-day change.
