Story synopsis

While claiming a lost item for someone else at a cafe, Chen You receives a notebook that belongs to Wu Ce, whom they haven't seen in years, containing an interview outline they never managed to finish. Their past trip had been canceled due to a funding dispute, and both had since changed careers. After reuniting, they check on the interviewees whose situations have changed, retain only the material that still has consent, and decide to collaborate on a short interview, scaling the project down to a size they can realistically manage.
