Story synopsis

Mo An and Yu Ce disagree over the relocation site of their shop: one wants to retain regular customers, while the other hopes to move closer to a larger market. A mere two kilometers apart on the map, the options reflect diverging visions of life. They each spend a week recording foot traffic and commute times at the two locations, then discuss what they are each afraid of losing. In the end, the flower shop stays at its original site, while a separate workspace is established for the engineering business; no longer forcing themselves to share the same space every day relieves the pressure of shouldering each other's entire dreams.
